Background

Beautyspot is the exclusive New Zealand distributor for the internationally acclaimed brands LiLash, Fab Brows, Zenagen and Avante.

Established in 2009, Beautyspot specialise in distributing cosmetic products that provide real solutions and results for consumers using products that are cruelty free and have not been tested on animals.

The Challenge


Beautyspot asked Brandstand to build a mall kiosk that could be used to effectively merchandise and retail their Fab Brows range of beauty products. The solution needed to meet the requirements of the mall owners:


  • Health and Safety Compliant

  • Meet stringent display guidelines


It also needed to meet the requirements of the brand owner:


  • Provide ample and easily accessible product storage

  • Create impactful branding

  • Drive product engagement and sampling

  • Generate revenue on stand

  • Be simple to install and transport


The Solution


Brandstand worked closely with the management team at Albany Mall to develop a mall kiosk that met their guidelines and could be used as an example model for kiosks of the future. The kiosk featured high impact premium graphics that remained within the height restrictions set by the property management company.


The final kiosk featured an open accessible environment, with flooring to compliment the design and give the impression of being in a beauty salon. Product was merchandised on several branded plinths, and directors stools were used to enable sampling and product demonstrations.
